Spring has taken a firm step into this part of the world, despite the lingering cold and the stubborn snowfall every other day. The days are brighter and longer, the birds sing louder. Buds have started shooting out of the branches, and with it comes the aroma of hope. We dig out the spring jackets and endure the cold, hoping that our efforts will somehow speed up the process. We do this even though we know that it will take another month for all the snow to melt and the landscape to take on a timid green color. You cannot help making summer plans already, smiling so intently that you can almost taste how wonderful it’s going to be. Because it’s summer, and summer can’t be anything else than wonderful.
